The Dog Doo Police in Paris

This video is incredible. It comes from the Smithsonian channel, which I do not get, but fortunately for us it's also on YouTube. This short video gives some great statistics, and may shed some light on why there is so much dog poop in Paris.

On a related note, we are trying to build the PicturesofDogDooDoo community internationally and are looking for a correspondent in Paris (or anywhere else in the world). It's the "movement" of the future!

Bagged poop hanging from a fence

Someone took the trouble to pick up and bag the poop then hung it on the fence. People do this in the United States too, but why? Is the poop fairy supposed to come along, gather up the poop bags and leave a treat for good little dog owners?

Today I may have set some kind of record, at least for this blog, of poops photographed in one day. We took a walk to a nearby cemetery, and you can see for yourself how well people follow the sign by the entrance. I got 29 pictures in all!
